new little k | mountain view newborn photographer

I had the pleasure of meeting this little man and his family this week. He is 2 weeks young. Simply precious and adorable he wanted to stay up and look at us for the longest time, but when he finally gave in to the sweet peace of sleep he was out for the count. Mom was so relaxed and excited about our session. See, he is a second child and as parents of more than one child goes it is so much easier to skip things like newborn pictures. First born children usually get all the perks, like having the fullest photo album. But this little guy is off to a smashing start! And since he is absolutely adorable how could he not!

A Christmas Hat | Campbell Baby Photographer

It is crazy how fast Christmas is approaching. I am amazed at how quickly the year goes by. As a child the year seemed soooo long. It took forever. Now as an adult each year flies past. The season is a prime time to remember to be thankful for all the many blessings in my life and also to take time to savor the moments now. To remember my children the age they are now. For to soon they will be even bigger. The perfect reason for new pictures :)

Here is a sweet little one working on her Christmas card pictures. Her hat was precious and she has some very captivating, wide brown eyes, – you just can’t help but look!

(please forgive the variance in picture size, I am still trying to find the perfect size!)

Beautiful sisters

I finally did a much needed upgrade to my blogs database and upgraded my blogs confusing technology as well. In the upgrade I got these great larger sized images. What an awesome way to show off my favorite images from your sessions. I am not a great writer, but I love to share images with you here.

So for my first new updated super cool post, here are two gorgeous sisters.

Miss N is so comfortable in front of the camera. So natural. So pretty.

Flower Power

I know that is a pretty lame title. But I have never been the best with creative naming. While exploring San Jose while my kids were in school I stumbled across the Heritage Rose Garden. Which as they describe it

…delighting you with a world class collection of almost 4,000 plants of more than 3,000 varieties of heritage, modern and miniature roses, initially planted by more than 750 volunteers in March, 1995.

It is certainly a beautiful sight. I am not a big rose buff but there were only a couple of roses that I had ever heard of. The first time I went I did not take my camera. So then I decided to go back and this time I went prepared. Here are a few of my favorite images from the visit.

Fresh Faces . . . Really Fresh.

These are about as fresh as you can get. I am looking for some tiny little new ones, less than two weeks old, to help me with a project I am working on! I have some great ideas I am very much wanting to try out but I need a few newborns ready and willing.

The scoop:

* Who: Expecting mommies who are due in the New Year ….Due in January-April.

* What: A newborn fresh faces campaign – a chance for me to try out some creative ideas that are up in my head, and expanding my portfolio with the little ones. While allowing you an opportunity to try me out and find out about PB&J Photography.

* When & Where: an agreed upon home location when you & the baby come home from the hospital. Your baby will need to be between 4 and 10 days old at the time of the shoot.
